Bobby Q’s Scottsdale

June 14th, 2018

As I walk into the dimly lit restaurant my scent is flooded with the sweet smell of Barbecue sauce. The smell is instant, it makes me hungry. Bobby Q’s is a modern American Barbecue restaurant. The outside is hidden from tall bushes and nicely planted flowers. As you walk inside of the building it is lit with candles spread throughout the dining room. Brick lined walls give it an older rustic look with antique decorations. The interior design of the restaurant brings a calm and relaxing ambiance. This is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail filled with great conversation and delicious barbecue... Read More

Driving down Camelback Road past Fashion Square mall tucked away lies The Original Pancake House. From the outside, the white exterior of the building doesn’t look like much, but this hidden gem is the perfect spot to enjoy a great breakfast. It is very hard to find because it blends in so well next to the Motel 6, so don’t drive by too fast! Planted out front are cute buckets of beautiful brightly colored flowers. It adds a great look to the front of the restaurant. I know there are plenty of other cute modern breakfast places, but this hands down has the best breakfast in Old Town. From... Read More

To my right are the bar and several wine racks with quite the selection of bottles for purchase. To the left is the rest of the dining area and the way to the patio, where I found myself sitting. The patio has orange umbrellas at each table, cacti planted around the area, as well as succulents, and other plants. Isabella’s Kitchen

February 23rd, 2018

Something you should know about me is that two of my favorite things are wine and sunsets. Being a millennial, I’m sure you could have guessed right away that wine would be one of them. At Isabella’s Kitchen located on North Scottsdale on 8623 E. Thompson Peak Parkway, both are plentiful. Within the pure grounds of Grayhawk Golf Course, touched with flowers and cute bulb light fixtures draped across the patio, Isabella’s Kitchen is the nesting ground for stunning views of the sunset in the North Valley.
